Jeff Fauntleroy Sr. (“Dr. Jeff”) began his lifelong commitment to service at a young age, attending political rallies with his mother. She instilled in him a deep sense of civic duty that continues to guide his work today.
After graduating high school in New Jersey, Jeff Fauntleroy Sr. joined the police force, serving more than 25 years in law enforcement. During that time, he developed a strong belief in building community trust and the importance of accessible mental health and counseling services.

Civic LeadershipGuided by the civic values his mother instilled, Jeff Fauntleroy Sr. was elected to the Atlantic City Board of Education, where he served two three-year terms, including time as vice president. He later served as a trustee at Atlantic Cape Community College.
